Introducing Evaluation The final stage of the ADDIE model has arrived. Evaluation has been reached. Yet, is it the end? Evaluation is an integral part of the ADDIE model, but it is also an integrated part. In this chapter, evaluation itself will be evaluated, and by the end of this chapter you will be able to: Summarize the theoretical foundations of evaluation and its application. Define evaluation. Categorize tasks roles within the three types of evaluation. Explain the process of evaluation and its role within instructional design. Recognize leaders in the domain of evaluation.
